Hayward Vari-Flo XL multiport control valve is made of Hayward’s exclusive PermaGlass XL™ material and engineered for maximum flow. The Vari-Flo control valves feature an easy-to-use lever action handle that lets you "dial" up to six valve/filter functions: filter, backwash, waste, rinse, closed or recirculate. Complete with an integral sight glass that lets you see when the backwashing cycle is completed.
This valve is used on the S-160T filter.

Product Overview
This valve threads into the top of the Hayward S-160T sand filter. The style of threads are "Buttress". If you check the side profile of the threads you will see an asymmetric shape, having one square face and the other slanted. Hayward Also has a "V-Thread" option. Please check your thread style before ordering.
