How It Works:

1. Seal the Lines – Install plugs into all returns. The double-seal system creates a watertight barrier at the faceplate or inside the fitting.

2. Clear with a Blower – Use a blower to push air through the plumbing. The Winter Duck Plug creates enough back pressure to clear all returns simultaneously, without “burping.”

3. Lock Out Water – After bubbling for several minutes, turn off the blower. The duck-bill valve prevents water from re-entering the pipes.

4. Optional Antifreeze – For added protection, add pool antifreeze to the lines. Turn the blower back on until a small amount of antifreeze enters the pool.

5. Optional Caps – Finish with the included yellow caps for a clean look. (Caps are decorative and not required for function.)
